Your donation will directly help us in supporting our goal to create more food security in our region, your giving spirit makes a difference as we help provide kai assistance to those who need it.

We are a registered charity (CC22763) and all donations over $5 are tax deductible. For one-off donations, you'll get a tax receipt via e-mail. For regular donors, you'll receive your tax receipt at the end of the financial year.

You can support the community by making an online donation instantly using our Donorbox with your debit or credit card or if you'd prefer you can do a bank transfer directly. Please email us if you require a receipt.

Hold a food / gift drive

If you are looking for a way to give back to your community then please consider doing a Food drive at your school, workplace, community, or sporting club.

Food drives are a great way to get teams and communities together whilst helping us get more food, grocery and personal items to the people who need them.

 

Here's how to organise a Food drive for SuperGrans!

Grocery Items for
Kai Parcels

  • Lunch box items (muesli bars, crackers, ie snacks, chippies, biscuits, boxed raisins etc)

  • Tinned and packet soups

  • Baked Beans & Spaghetti

  • Rice and pasta

  • Tinned fish

  • Weetbix and muesli

  • Tinned pasta sauce

  • UHT Milk

Food drop-offs must be organised in advance. If you are a bulk food supplier or an orchard and you'd like to make a bulk donation please phone us on 06 868 3571

Become a Volunteer

If you sign up to our volunteer programme, you will receive an abundance of training and incentives. Working with a mana wahine team that knows how to make a real difference, meet new people, make new friends and feel good about the work you’re doing.

Positions Required

  • Preparing emergency food parcels in an emergency

  • Work alongside our Kai Coach empowering community members through food workshops.

  • Front desk duties, meeting and greeting members of the public.

  • Building community veggie gardens with our field team.
